Reece Young

At home we truly believe it takes a village to raise a family which is why I joined the School Board. I’m married to my childhood sweetheart, Emma - who is also on the P&C - and we have four young children, three of whom are at KPS with the fourth arriving next year into Kindy.

Last year I wrapped up 25 years in the Army and now occasionally consult to governments on strategic policy. I’ve obtained post graduates in Business and also Strategy, and am now researching a PhD on strategy and ethics in Space.  I’ve also sat on a few business boards, currently shaping a wooden surfboard, once ran the oldest wine cellar in Australia, and have run a few ultra-marathons - despite my…errr…robust appearance.

I would strongly encourage those who have the time, to help out around the school. We are surrounded by great parents and tremendous children and this is a wonderful village to part of.
